Environmental News(2/9/13) NASA is planning to launch a new sattelite for their Landsat program, which is helping to monitor the Earth's climate and other related issues.
(12/30/12) The EPA's statistics say that enforcing their policies in 2012 alone reduced "2.2 billion pounds of air, water and land pollution, as well as 4.4 billion pounds of hazardous waste, and $252 million in civil and criminal penalties levied". (9/23/2012) Data centers - huge buildings full of computers storing information for and about online users - are using about 30 billion watts of electricity worldwide, but almost 90% of this energy is wasted.
