I'm currently in ninth grade in Connecticut. After doing a research project in fifth grade, i started this website to educate more people on pollution & global warming and what they can do to help.

(2/9/13) NASA is planning to launch a new sattelite for their Landsat program, which is helping to monitor the Earth's climate and other related issues.
(12/30/12) The EPA's statistics say that enforcing their policies in 2012 alone reduced
"2.2 billion pounds of air, water and land pollution, as well as 4.4 billion pounds of hazardous waste, and $252 million in civil and criminal penalties levied".

(6/14/2012) The EPA is looking to pass a bill limiting the amount of carbon pollution fossil-fuel power plants can release. Look at a summary of the bill, or read the bill itself.
The average American creates 3,285 pounds of garbage annually.
Open the curtains. Why use unnecessary electricity when you could use natural lighting and be able to see the outdoors at the same time? Opening the curtains can also help you heat your house.
